<p>The 14″ Semi-Automatic Crosscut Power Saw combines efficiency,
precision, and safety. This saw features an enclosed cutting area that
provides the cutting safety customers seek. Make repeatable, straight
cuts for years to come. The model 3715.S is a semi-automatic saw, able
to cut 3 ¼ ” deep in a single pass and has a 17 ¼” crosscut capability.
It comes standard with manual clamps.</p>
<p><strong>Weighing in at 800 pounds, this substantial saw is made for the rigors of everyday use.</strong> The Crosscut Power Saw is well suited for pallet shops, lumber yards, schools, big box stores, and many more industries.</p>
<p><strong>Do you have the capability to run 3 phase power at your location?</strong>
If so, this is the model you want. 3 phase power creates a smoother
motor start-up. There tends to be less maintenance and longer service
life with no relays or capacitors inside the motor.</p>
<p><strong>Semi-Automatic Crosscut Power Saws are easy to operate.</strong>
First, slide the material into the side of the saw and under the Lexan
top. Secondly, clamp it into place using manual or pneumatic clamps.
Next, merely push the button to activate the cycle. The carriage moves
radially forward and cuts the material. In these models, the carriage
stroke is controlled by the adjustable stops on the right side of the
machine. Lastly, the carriage returns to its home position under the
machine’s cover.</p>

Original Saw Company’s Semi-Automatic Crosscut Power Saw Model 3715.S
is made with a powder-coated, heavy steel frame. The Crosscut Power Saw
has the best cut quality in its class with a TEFC (totally enclosed fan
cooled) motor and an internal automatic brake. This Crosscut Power Saw
utilizes a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to control the arbor motor.
Using the VFD increases the speed of the blade by over 8 seconds.
Because of the VFD, this saw has a slower, smoother start-up.</p>
